Front Garden Competition

Our local neighbourhood is blessed with many delightful front gardens that enhance our streets, prevent flooding, support wildlife, suppress noise pollution, clean the air we breath, and bring us into contact with our neighbours. To celebrate the many benefits front gardens bring to a community the Notting Hill East Forum are holding an informal Front Garden Competition. A local volunteer judge will walk the streets in the last week of June looking for gardening triumphs small and large. Pots, planters, window boxes, and hanging baskets are all welcome. No garden is too small to be considered a potential winner and there will be honourable mentions for many gardens. So get planting and pruning and watch the website for an update with competition photos and a winners announcement in July.
