The long awaited referendum is finally here!

On Thursday the 29th October local residents will decide whether to adopt the Neighbourhood Plan. If adopted, WCC planning officers would need to consider the policies in the Neighbourhood Plan when approving planning applications. We think the Plan will help preserve what we love about our neighbourhood (parks and gardens) and promote what is needed (climate adaptions, mansard extensions, local improvement). You can find a summary of the Plan here and we hope you will vote YES on the day.

Please rest assured that voting YES does not give NHENF any additional powers in relation to planning decisions. All decision making will continue to stay solely with WCC, and their only obligation is consult the Neighbourhood Plan to understand the policies that residents have voted for.
