On June 7th, as part of the Eden Project’s UK-wide Big Lunch event, neighbours from the NHENF area gathered in Shrewsbury Gardens for an outdoor picnic.

It was a glorious spring day, with perfect temperatures and plenty of sunshine.  Everyone contributed food and drink, and enjoyed their conversations with neighbors – some, old friends, and some, new acquaintances.

It was a truly cooperative event, with participants pitching in to help with seating, and tables and decorations.  All who attended hope to make it an annual event.
